Currently SmartDose® 0.9% NaCl is used not only
as a standard infusion system by several cystic fibrosis centers - it
has been also successfully evaluated for the use with cytostatic drugs
and other short-term infusable pharmaceutical substances, especially in
paediatric wards of major hospitals.
The unique advantage of the SmartDose® system have been highlighted by hospital staff, patients and their home care providers. The striking ease of use of the system simplifies the work of medical personnel and patients while the sterile chain is maintained throughout the procedure, thus enhancing the safety of the treatment.
